Silence Writes – Hiljaisuus kirjoittaa

Silence
writes
beautiful
poems
without
words.

It
knows
everything.

**

Hiljaisuus
kirjoittaa
kauniita
runoja
ilman
sanoja.

Se
tietää
kaiken.

    1. Hi, and thanks, Linda Darling! I´m fine! ❤️ We are co operating with the best of our ability in the current situation, staying at home and lifting each others spirits in many ways via the internet (to put it short). And you?

Here is a high school choir singing a lovely song for us (each one of them doing their part from their own home). Including an unofficial translation from Youtube comments:

      Triumphant Song of the Fearless

‘My childhood taught me to sing and play
      The whole spark of life
For the whole endless summer, let’s try to
dress up as glorious autumn colours
as leaves to be raked up in great-grandma’s yard
      To float into
      the big shoes to fill
      Let’s draw with our gloriousness,
with our endless beauty and handsomeness
      this tireless fury,
      irresponsible freedom
      on the rocks and cliffs
Let’s colour all the way to the outlines
all the hues of life, the hues of life

We build life that will dwell on earth
with our fingers in the soil,
      our hands pressed against concrete
      We bring hope,
      belief in dreams

      Useless is all envy
      and acrimony,
      disappointed yesterday
Everyone will grow up to be
      Superman or a butterfly

Eat all the colours of life at once
Fill your belly all at once with the world
No one can be filled up with colours
      or become drunk on life

We build life that will dwell on earth
with our fingers in the soil,
      our hands pressed against concrete
      We bring hope,
      belief in dreams
      (x2)

      Fingers in hope
      Souls into dreams
We build out of the soil
      Hands into concrete
A belief in what’s to come’

      Love and cosmic hugs,

      Britta
